I Have So Many Things to Share

I believe we All have something to share. That our stories matter and are full of purpose. That the stories, scars, lessons, healing, and hope are seeds...

And somehow, despite all the stories, lessons, and experiences collected along the way, I continue to wake up feeling like there is still, and will always be, so much left to learn and explore.

Welcome, Dear Loved Ones.

Before we journey any further together, I'd like to share briefly about how this little corner of the internet came to be, why I write, what this space is becoming, and what I hope grows from the seeds planted here.

Dear Loved Ones will at times feel like an Open Letter or Diary.

In fact, it's inspired by more than just one.

I want to write in a fashion that meets readers with curiosity rather than certainty. With an openness that is more like writing a letter to a friend.
Not as someone with all the answers, but as one who is also learning and growing.

While trying to think of a "pen-pal" name, I was inspired by the Light and Love that guides me—the Ruach HaKodesh, the Holy Spirit.

It led me not only to the books of 1 and 2 Peter in the Bible, but also to a brave young girl whose diary I am slowly and intentionally reading. Anne Frank.

This ongoing series is written, in part, as a tribute to the writers, thinkers, teachers, and everyday people who chose to share their stories and what they learned along the way. It is offered with recognition, admiration, and gratitude for those whose words, experiences, and examples continue to inspire and guide future generations.

Dear Loved Ones is, at its heart, about cultivating a place where stories, lessons, questions, and experiences can be shared with grace and intention.

It is a walk-through of everyday life where I share how and why I believe our stories matter. The scars we carry. The healing we've likely worked hard to gain

Lessons we learn along the way that are worth passing on.

How and why the seeds we plant today may grow in ways we never fully see.

Throughout my life I have wondered if sharing matters.

Specifically if anything I have to share matters.

While I may still question my own value, I recognize that I have learned and grown because of what others have shared.

It makes me pause and wonder, "Where would I be if they hadn't?"

Perhaps all any of us wants is not only to feel seen, but to make a difference in someone else's life by sharing what we have learned through our experiences.

I'm still learning, it's true, and I pray I never stop

There is a shift happening, though. A calling within me that I can no longer deny. A calling to share what I am learning because I believe we are here to love, encourage, and support one another.

I believe our stories, the lessons learned, challenges overcome, and hope we gained along he way are worth sharing.

Lessons learned the easy way and the hard way.

Moments that made us laugh.

Moments that broke our heart.

Dear Loved Ones is about sharing things I have discovered through faith, friendship, gardening, books, Scripture, mistakes, etc., and simply living.

There's just one caveat though...

It's not just that we share, or even what we share, but HOW we share.

Do we share with and out of love?
With kindness? With intention?
Is it more about ourselves than about who and what we are sharing?

Dear Loved Ones is about sharing.

It is designed to encourage and lift others up.

It's created with the hope of helping others through their journey.

To make a difference. To Change the world. To Explore something New. Create something new. Ask something new. Do. Something. New.

Something that changes lives. Saves lives. Impacts lives. Inspires lives.

So I am going to share things about my life - with grace and humility I pray - in hopes that perhaps it somehow makes a difference in someone's life.

Please join me in this open letter style of writing on the messiness of life, the hope of healing, and the beauty of sharing what we’ve learned.

Thank you for reading and God Bless
